The mission of My Sisters’ Kitchen is to provide training, employment and sense of belonging to some of the most disadvantaged women in Sunderland. They work alongside women who live with ‘multiple disadvantage’, women experiencing domestic abuse are more than likely experiencing other forms of social and economic disadvantage such as poverty, unemployment, crime, poor mental health, and those leaving care.
As part of a project with BIC and Software City Sunderland, I worked with My Sister’s Kitchen providing photography as part of a package of advice and support on design, marketing, websites and social media.
